Winter Crag Sheepdogs

Dam: Meg - T.Jenkins

Sire: Digger - My Ruby ( bought as a pup from H.Mcall)  X Jim Wilson's Major

Amber is a wonderful dog, she has a big heart and doesn't have a bad bone in her.

She is a really handy work bitch for gathering at the fell / in the pens and will also gather lowland fields. She has an outrun on both sides and will push a mob through rough ground.   She will back sheep in a fashion...she isn't the most graceful at it but you can get her to push a pen up no bother and keep sheep running throug the shedder.

I don't breed Huntaways, in fact I have only ever had 1 litter which produced Amber's Sire.  I do plan to breed with Amber this coming spring but have not yet sourced a Stud dog.
